Currently, there are three locations across the USA but John\u2019s hoping to expand the business internationally.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a while now, John\u2019s heard talk of PFAS and the dangers they may cause. He read an article recently that PFAS can build up in the body and lead to health issues including cancer, infertility, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. They can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niehs.nih.gov\/health\/topics\/agents\/pfc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">also be catastrophic for the environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The problem is, his famous boiled candies rely on non-stick packaging that contain PFAS. He\u2019s sure there are other products in his factory that also contain PFAS, although he\u2019s not entirely sure the extent. John knows that businesses today have a responsibility to their employees, to the environment, and to the greater community to take <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecoonline.com\/blog\/how-to-avoid-pfas-chemicals-in-your-workplace\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecoonline.com\/en-ca\/blog\/how-to-avoid-pfas-chemicals-in-your-workplace\/\">PFAS mitigation seriously<\/a>.
