In November 2020,\u00a0they stated all<br>COVID-19 cases must be recorded if work-related and\u00a0if it\u00a0resulted in effects outlined in\u00a0standard\u00a029\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/laws-regs\/regulations\/standardnumber\/1904\/1904.7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CFR 1904.7<\/a>,\u00a0which include\u00a0death, days away from work, loss of\u00a0consciousness, etc.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though not every case must be recorded, each needs to be investigated to decide whether it has been caused by elements on the worksite. If this is the case, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecompliance.com\/osha-300-reporting\/?__hstc=245747675.71451e0dfb6ad5eee0d4aa1a9f8c8267.1734432475089.1740397025777.1740465419766.53&amp;__hssc=245747675.12.1740465419766&amp;__hsfp=3855257701\">OSHA 300 log forms<\/a>&nbsp;must be completed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New guidance was also recently released in January 2021. Click\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/coronavirus\/safework\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>, to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How and Where to Submit the OSHA 300 Log<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you know the information that needs to be recorded,\u00a0let\u2019s\u00a0discuss how and where to\u00a0submit\u00a0the\u00a0OSHA 300 log.\u00a0Your\u00a0OSHA<br>300\u00a0log\u00a0\u00a0must\u00a0be\u00a0<strong>posted\u00a0between\u00a0the months of\u00a0February and April<\/strong>, for the previous year; however,\u00a0<strong>all three OSHA forms must be regularly\u00a0updated<\/strong>, and not just during this time period.
