Got questions? We’ve got answers

1. What is a lone worker panic button?

A lone worker panic button is a small wearable device that lets employees raise an emergency alert instantly — even if their phone is locked, in their pocket, or out of reach. It connects to the StaySafe lone worker app to deliver fast alerts and visibility for teams working across.

2. How long does the battery last?

The battery life is market leading and designed for long-term use, it lasts up to 3 years (depending on usage). Lone workers stay protected without constant charging – ideal for mobile teams and shift-based roles.

3. Can I add my company logo to the panic button?

Yes, Flic panic buttons are fully customisable with your company logo.

4. How does it work?

The Flic safety button pairs via Bluetooth with the StaySafe mobile app. A single press or press-and-hold triggers a check-in or panic alert. If a fall is detected from approximately 3 ft, a man-down alert activates automatically, helping first responders take action quickly.

5. Can alerts be monitored in-house or externally?

Both. Organisations can manage alerts internally via the StaySafe Hub or partner with accredited 24/7 monitoring services for faster than 999 emergency response — especially valuable for out-of-hours operations.

6. Is the panic button discreet?

Yes. It can be hidden on clothing such as belts, lanyards, or uniforms, and activated silently – ideal for high-risk situations where drawing attention could increase danger.
