Hart-Well already had a great safety culture and reputation. However, they wanted to take things to the next level by getting COR certified.
This was crucial, as many of their key clients required COR certification to bid on projects. This included clients such as the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Canada’s Wonderland, the Toronto Transit Commission, the University of Toronto, York University and the City of Toronto.
Their main hurdle was a paper-based safety system that was not meeting their needs.
RESULTS
Hart-Well implemented eCompliance to streamline their safety information and track their progress towards getting COR certified.
The first step was digitizing their safety process, while giving their front-line workers a mobile app to carry out safety activities like inspections and toolbox talks.
They made it a priority to ensure their mobile forms were relevant to the tasks that their employees would be carrying out every week.
As a result, Hart-Well achieved COR certification in September 2017. They have also maintained compliance and kept a high safety standard ever since!
