EcoOnline strengthens its position by acquiring one of Sweden’s leading HSEQ software providers, Nordic Port.

EcoOnline, the leading European provider of chemical safety and other HSEQ management software products, acquires Nordic Port AB, based in Gothenburg Sweden. With this acquisition, EcoOnline will strengthen its position and offering within Chemical management and add Environment and Quality management modules to the product portfolio.

“Nordic Port has a strong position with loyal customers in their target markets and a similar vision, business model and culture as EcoOnline. Together we will be able to serve all customer segments even better”, says CEO of EcoOnline Group Göran Lindö

EcoOnline has experienced rapid growth in recent years, both organically and through a number of acquisitions. To meet the market’s demand for more comprehensive HSE and quality solutions, EcoOnline launched the occupational safety software Safety Manager earlier this year.

“Through this acquisition, EcoOnline will, apart from strengthening the chemical management offering and competence, add proven Environment and Quality management offerings that will enable us to solve a broader range of customer challenges within the HSEQ area", says Göran Lindö.

“We will, by joining EcoOnline, enter a new development phase as we become part of one of Europe’s leading HSEQ software providers and gain access to and share know-how and best practice with more than 200 new colleagues. We look forward to bringing additional offerings, competence and experience from the adjacent environment and quality management areas, to EcoOnline and their customer base. Together we can help protect people and environment even better and further accelerate our growth”, says CEO of Nordic Port, Martin Johansson.
