What they wanted
PageGroup recognises the risk climate change poses to society.
Due to the office-based nature of PageGroup’s work, they have a relatively small carbon footprint.
However, as a global, listed company they recognise their responsibility in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and taking urgent action against climate change – so that people today, and those in future generations, may enjoy the benefits of living in a healthy and sustainable environment.

How we helped
Ecometrica helped PageGroup to start collecting and reporting its environmental footprint using Ecometrica’s Sustainability Reporting Platform across its offices in all 37 countries where they operate. PageGroup had previously been using a more traditional reporting system requiring the manual inputting of data.
To ensure ambitious emissions targets are met, it is vital that carbon emissions can be reported regularly and accurately, to track progress towards those targets. PageGroup sought a system-based reporting tool that would make the process of collecting emissions-related data more efficient and robust, which is imperative for auditing purposes and improving the transparency of reported sustainability data.
In addition, PageGroup wanted to analyse its business against climate-related scenarios in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Using Ecometrica’s award-winning TCFD Risk Assessor, PageGroup are now able to predict heatwaves, precipitation extremes / flooding, drought conditions and sea level rises against climate-related scenarios for each of their offices.
