Göran Lindö has been hired as the new CEO of EcoOnline. Lindö, who comes from the position of VP SMB & B2C at Dustin Group, succeeds Øyvind Robert Thorsen, whom has led the company into becoming the Nordic region’s largest software company for chemical documentation.
After a thorough hiring process, both Summa Equity and Viking Venture are very pleased to announce that Göran Lindö has accepted the position.
"We are convinced that Göran, with his extensive management experience and dedication, is the right person to continue developing what EcoOnline has built with Øyvind’s excellent leadership", says Kent Zehetner, Board Leader at EcoOnline.
"EcoOnline has an attractive offer and business model, as well as extensive expertise and a strong culture, which has given the company its leading position in the Nordics. The safe management of chemicals is not only important in terms of complying with European legislation, but it also contributes to creating an attractive and safe work environment for employees. Consequently, EcoOnline has great opportunities for rapid growth in the exciting and growing field of environment, health and safety. I am therefore looking forward to continuing the development of EcoOnline and taking the company to new heights", says Göran Lindö.
"Summa Equity and Viking Venture would like to thank Øyvind for his outstanding work, and we are very pleased to announce that he will be continuing in the company as VP New Customers and will also be a shareholder", says Christian Melby, Partner at Summa Equity.
